Hotel Godwin Deluxe

Arakashan Road in Paharganj is a pretty intense place to be. We are at 8501 / 15, right in the middle of the Ram Nagar area. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how it is. The streets are narrow, there are people everywhere, and the 110055 zip code is always humming with energy. Hotel Godwin Deluxe is one of many buildings packed into this neighborhood. We try to keep our little corner of the street as tidy as we can, but Paharganj is a wild place. There are always rickshaws buzzing by and vendors shouting out their prices. Our building has a few floors, and the stairs are a bit steep. We spend a lot of time checking people in and out at odd hours because the trains at the nearby station don't follow a strict schedule for everyone. It’s a bit worn around the edges, with some scuffs on the walls and floors that have seen better days. But it’s a place with character. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a room in a very busy part of the city. The noise from the street is something you just get used to after a while. It’s honest and it’s loud, and that’s just how life is on Arakashan Road. We have lived in this chaos for years and wouldn't know what to do with quiet.
