H.K.H.R Industries is a small place on Street No 10 in Subhash Park. Shahdara is a crowded neighborhood, and our spot is right there on the Main Road. It’s definitely not a quiet area. There’s always someone shouting or a rickshaw honking right outside the door. We’ve got a small setup here at 1/1152-J. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the desk. Most of us have been working together for a long time now. We handle the industry work day in and day out. Some days are slow, but mostly we are rushing to finish what's on the table. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we'd rather spend that time on the machines we use. We drink our tea from the stall at the corner of the street. It’s honest work. We don't try to look bigger or better than we are. If you’re looking for a shiny glass building, this isn’t it. It’s just a brick and mortar shop where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That’s just life in this part of Delhi. We just keep going because this is what we know how to do for a living.
