Harleen Architects

Harleen Architects is based at Flat No: A/ E-24 in Tagore Garden. We are very close to the Metro Station, which makes it easy to get around Delhi. The office is actually just a flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s got a very lived-in feel to it. There’s always a stack of drawings in the corner and a few computers running. Being near the metro means we hear the trains going by, but you get used to that after a while. It’s just me and a small team working here. We don’t have a big sign outside or a fancy lobby. We just focus on the architecture work that comes our way. Tagore Garden is a busy residential area, and we like being right in the middle of it. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. We don't use any corporate jargon or try to sound bigger than we are. We just take the projects, sit at our desks, and work through the designs until they are finished. The kitchen in the flat is where we spend a lot of time making coffee and talking about whatever project we are currently stuck on. It’s a very informal environment, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished office; we just want to do the job well from our little spot near the station.
