Geodis Overseas Pvt Ltd is located over in Mahipalpur Extension, specifically at A-133 on Road 4. If you know that part of Delhi, you know it is always humming with activity because the airport is so close by. Our office sits right in the middle of all that movement. We deal with overseas stuff every day, which mostly involves a lot of back-and-forth emails and tracking numbers. The street outside can get quite dusty with all the construction and trucks passing through to Street 5. We have a few desks pushed together and the walls are mostly covered with calendars and old maps. It’s a practical space. We don’t spend much on decor because we’re usually too busy looking at screens or talking to people at the warehouse. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling sound, but we’re used to it. Lunch is usually someone bringing in rolls or eating at the desk while finishing up a report. It’s a straightforward environment where people just show up and do their bit. We’ve had the same people working here for years, so we all know who takes their coffee with too much sugar. Logistics is mostly about waiting for things to move and then rushing when they finally do. It can be stressful when a flight is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We just focus on the boxes and the forms until the day is done and we can head home.
