Ganesh Marbles

Ganesh Marbles is located at Off No.D-214 in Mansarover Garden, which sits right near the Ring Road. It’s a pretty busy spot because of the Ring Road traffic, and you can always hear the cars and trucks zooming by. Our office, D-214, is where we keep all our paperwork and meet with people who stop in. Outside, we have the marble slabs lined up. The air in Mansarover Garden can get a bit hazy with the road dust and the stone particles, but that's just part of the job. We have been here for a while and most of the other shop owners nearby know us. We start early in the morning before the traffic gets too heavy. Most of our day is spent walking between the stacks of marble and checking the quality of each piece. It’s a lot of walking and a lot of lifting, so it keeps us on our toes. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a straightforward place for stone. Sometimes we have a little trouble with space when a big delivery comes in, but we always find a way to fit everything into our area off the main road. It's a solid place to work and we keep things pretty simple. The rainy season makes things a bit messy, but we just deal with it as it comes. We shut the lights off when the traffic starts to die down at night.
