Dhiraj Marbles

We are located at Plot 116 in Section 20 of Dwarka. It’s a good spot because the Sector 9 Metro station is quite close, so people can find us without much trouble. We have a lot of marble slabs leaning against the walls. It’s heavy work and my back feels it some days. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and fancy catalogs. We just have the stone out in the open where you can see it. Most people who come in are local residents looking for something for their kitchen or bathroom. We spend our time showing them the different veins in the marble. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have some dust on the floor and the phone rings quite a bit. Dhiraj Marbles has been in this part of Dwarka for a while. We know the local contractors. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just sell stone. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic near the metro, and we just have to wait. We still use a lot of handwritten slips for our orders because it works for us. If someone wants to see what we have, they just walk in. We don't really do appointments. It’s just a regular yard with regular people working in it. We take our lunch breaks together in the small office area. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just stay focused on the stone we have here.
