You can find us on the second floor at 4382 / 4B on Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. It is an old building and the stairs are a bit steep for some. Devidayal Agro Chemicals has been operating from this space for quite some time now. We deal with various fertilizers and chemicals that people need for their crops and gardens. The office is full of ledgers and sample bottles. Darya Ganj is a very busy area, especially with all the book shops and the constant traffic. Downstairs it is always loud, but up here on the second floor, it is a little quieter. We spend our time answering the phone and writing down orders. It’s not a modern glass office. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We have a couple of ceiling fans that keep the air moving during the summer. Most of our visitors are people who have been doing business with us for years. They know the way up the stairs. We don’t have any big signs, just a small nameplate near the door. The paperwork keeps us busy most of the day. Sometimes the sunlight comes through the window just right in the afternoon. We stay until the evening when the market starts to close up. It’s just steady work in a part of Delhi that never seems to stop moving. We just take it one day at a time.
