Our place is over in Okhla Phase-II, tucked into the A-103 block. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it’s always busy with trucks and people moving crates around. The air is always a bit dusty from the factories nearby. We spend most of our hours in this big hall filled with equipment and bags. It’s a lot of physical work and the metal roof gets really hot in the summer months. We have a couple of plastic chairs and a water cooler that stays busy all day long. Most of the staff has been with us for a few years now so we know each other's families and stories. Lunchtime is when everyone sits together in the corner. We deal with agricultural supplies mostly, so there is always that earthy smell around the warehouse. The office is just a small partitioned space with a computer that sometimes takes forever to start up. We don't really have a big sign outside, just the number painted on the gate. It’s a bit of a maze back here but once you find us, it’s just a regular group of people doing their jobs. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big order for a client out of town. It gets quiet in the evenings after the other units shut down. That’s usually when we get the most paperwork done without any interruptions from the noise outside.
