Allied Agro Agencies

Operating out of Azadpur in the New Subzi Mandi, Allied Agro Agencies is right in the middle of all the action. Our shop is number 61 in Block C. If you have ever been to the mandi, you know that the day starts way before the sun even comes up. It is a chaotic place with trucks moving in and out, and people shouting everywhere. We deal with agricultural goods, which means we are always looking at the quality of whatever is coming in from the farms. It is a dusty and noisy environment, but it is also very lively. Shop 61 is our base where we handle the paperwork and talk to the farmers and buyers. There are crates stacked high, and the floor is usually covered in bits of straw or vegetable peelings. We don't have time for anything fancy. The work is hard and involves a lot of manual labor and quick decisions. Being in Block C, we are surrounded by other traders doing similar things. It’s a community of people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty. We just try to keep things organized so the food gets where it needs to go. It is a practical business that depends on the seasons and the weather. Every day is a bit different depending on what arrives at the mandi. Sometimes it's apples, sometimes it's something else entirely. We just take it as it comes.
