Our place is located at 5584 Naya Bazar. It's right in the middle of all the grain and seed activity that this area is known for. The name Bishan Saroop Ram Kishan has been around for a long time, and we try to keep that history going. It’s a family-style setup, really, without any of those modern corporate layers. We handle a lot of agro products and every morning starts early here because the market gets crowded very fast. Trucks are constantly coming in and out, and there’s always someone checking the quality of the bags or talking about daily prices. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space with sacks piled up in the corners and people sitting around talking about the latest crop reports. If you walk down Naya Bazar, you’ll eventually see us. It's a bit dusty and usually very noisy, but that's just the nature of the trade we are in. We deal with farmers and traders mostly. We’ve been in this same spot for years, and we know most of the people on the street by name. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just keep working with the doors wide open for a bit of light. We don’t do much advertising at all. People just know where to find us. We make sure the goods are what they are supposed to be. It's hard work, but we are all used to it. The records are mostly kept in big ledgers, though we do have a computer for some things.
