De Romana Hotel

You can find De Romana Hotel over in Darya Ganj, right by the Jama Masjid area. It’s a very old and crowded part of Delhi, so there is always something happening outside our doors. The streets are narrow and full of rickshaws and people selling all kinds of things. Our place is tucked away in that mix. It’s a small hotel where people stay when they need a cheap place near the mosque or the markets. The rooms are basic. We have beds, fans, and the necessities. It isn't a luxury stay by any means. Most of our guests are here for trade or to visit the historic sites nearby. We’ve been around for a while, so the building shows some age, but we try to keep it tidy. The noise from the mosque and the market carries inside, but most people who stay in Darya Ganj expect that. It’s a lively spot. We don't have a big lobby or a concierge. Usually, it’s just one of us at the desk to hand over keys. We don't have a website with fancy photos. What you see is what you get. It’s a place to sleep and keep your bags while you explore the city. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially during festivals. We just take it one day at a time and help our guests out when they ask for directions to the metro or the bazaar.
