Claridges Group Of Hotels

We use House No. 1080 in Sector 4 of R.K. Puram as our base here in New Delhi. It’s a residential-looking house in a well-known sector. You wouldn't necessarily know it’s an office for Claridges Group of Hotels from the outside. Inside, it’s a mix of different rooms where we handle the back-end stuff. We have people dealing with bookings, some doing the accounts, and others just making sure the day-to-day operations are running. It’s a bit cramped because we have quite a few people working here now. We’ve got folders stacked on top of cupboards and paper everywhere. It’s a busy atmosphere. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going, especially during the peak seasons when things get hectic. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is a nice contrast to the busy work inside. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. We just go about our business quietly. Most of us have been working together for years, so we’re like a small community. We share the space, help each other out with tasks, and occasionally complain about the heat when the air conditioning isn’t quite keeping up. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, it’s just our work home where we get the job done without much fuss. We value the fact that it feels more personal than a big glass tower and we've gotten used to the quirky layout.
