It’s a noisy, crowded place where you can find just about any kind of screw or fastener you can think of. Our shop is small and filled to the ceiling with boxes of every size and shape. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We spend our days counting out orders and talking to people from all over who come here looking for specific parts for their machines or furniture. It’s not a clean or quiet environment. There’s the constant sound of metal clinking and the shouting of porters moving heavy loads through the narrow streets. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know they can get what they need from us. We’re just regular people trying to make a living in a very busy part of Delhi. Sometimes we get a bit tired of the chaos, but we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if it was quiet. We take things as they come and try to give everyone a fair price. It’s honest work, dealing with small parts that hold everything else together.
