Balaji Wires

Our place is located in Vishwas Nagar, which anyone around here knows is the spot for electrical stuff. Balaji Wires has been operating out of these streets for some time now. It's a noisy neighborhood with trucks constantly loading and unloading materials. We spend our days surrounded by different gauges of wire and big spools that take up a lot of room. The floors are usually covered in some dust or scraps because that’s just how it is when you’re handling this kind of material all day long. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Usually, people just walk in and ask what we have in stock. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole space gets a bit crowded. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving heavy things around. My clothes usually end up with some grease or dirt by the end of the shift. The neighbors are mostly doing the same thing as us, so there is always a lot of talk about copper prices and what’s moving fast. We’ve seen the area change over the years, with more and more shops opening up every season. It’s a steady kind of life for us. We just focus on getting the wires out to whoever needs them for their projects. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until the shutters go down at night.
