Our place is situated at No. 809-810 on Chattarpur Mandir Road Near Lilly White Hotel Near Lilly White Hotel. It’s a busy stretch of road, and we’ve been operating from here for a long time, watching the area change around us. The yard is usually full of marble slabs that we bring in from different places. It’s heavy work, moving these things around with the crane. The sun gets quite hot out here in the open, but we are used to it by now. We don't really go in for big speeches or polished brochures. Most of our day is spent checking the patterns on the stone and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the traffic on Mandir Road makes it hard for the trucks to get in, so we have to plan things out carefully. It’s a family-run kind of setup, so things are pretty casual. You might find us sitting around a small table having lunch or talking to a regular who has been buying from us for years. We like the stone business because every piece of marble is a bit different. It’s not like selling stuff made in a factory. The dust settles on everything, but that’s just part of the job. We stay open pretty late most days just to make sure we finish what we started. There is always more stone to sort through and more deliveries to organize for the next morning.
