If you know Kamla Market, you know how crowded and loud it gets every single day. We are located right there at number 203. It is a small place but we stay busy. Mostly we just deal with the tempos and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It is very loud outside with all the horns and people walking everywhere. We have been in this spot for a long time now. The office isn't much to look at, just some old desks and a lot of logbooks piled up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the guys about their routes and fuel. Traffic in the city is getting worse every year, so we spend a lot of time just waiting for trucks to get back to the market. It takes a lot of coordination to make sure things get picked up on time. We don't have any fancy software, just our heads and some pens and paper. Sometimes the tea guy comes by in the afternoon and that's the best part of the day. We know most of the other shop owners around this part of the market. It feels like a small village even though it is in the middle of a huge city. It can be stressful when a delivery is running late, but we manage. We just keep the tempos running and the goods moving. It is just honest work for us.
