Industrial Electronic Technology

We are over at A-15/335 Brijpuri. It’s quite close to Victoria Public School. You can hear the kids playing during recess and the bells ringing sometimes. We work on industrial electronics here. It is a lot of repair work and checking small components on boards. The shop is usually full of tools and half-finished circuits. We’ve been at this for a long time. It’s mostly about getting machines back to working order for the local factories. Sometimes the parts we need take forever to arrive. We spend a lot of time testing things with meters. It’s dusty work sometimes because of the old equipment. The neighborhood is okay. People know where we are because of the school nearby. My desk is usually covered in solder and bits of wire. We don't really do much advertising or marketing. People find us when their stuff breaks down and they need it fixed fast. It's practical, hands-on work. There is no fancy lobby or any of that corporate stuff. Just a workspace with some chairs for when people need to wait. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. The winters are better because the soldering irons keep the room warm. In the summer, it's a bit tough with the heat. We just keep our heads down and fix what needs fixing. Industrial stuff is heavy and can be tricky. We have to be careful moving things around the shop. It's just me and a couple of others. We know the machines pretty well by now. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in Brijpuri.
