Ehsaaz Enterprises

Our shop is 10-B in Bersarai, right across from the old JNU campus and the DDA flats. It’s a lively neighborhood with students and families constantly walking by. Ehsaaz Enterprises is a small place. We don’t have much room, so we have to be very organized with how we store things. We do a bit of everything here, mostly whatever the local community needs in terms of supplies and small services. The area is quite cramped, and finding parking is always a nightmare, so most people just walk over. I spend a lot of time sitting at the front desk watching the world go by when it’s quiet. We have a few regular customers who come in just to chat before they buy anything. It feels more like a community spot than a big retail store. We don’t have a big corporate strategy. We just try to keep the shelves stocked with things people actually ask for. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the Delhi traffic, and we have to tell people to come back the next day. It’s a bit frustrating but everyone understands how things work here. The building is old and needs some paint, but it’s our home. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay as long as the neighborhood needs us around. It’s a simple life, running a small enterprise in this part of town. We are usually here until late.
