Balaji Hotelwares

We’re tucked away at 4573, Arya Samah Road in Karol Bagh. If you know the area, you know it’s crowded and the streets are always full of people and rickshaws. Our shop is mostly filled with hotelwares like big pots, pans, and stacks of plates. It gets pretty cramped in here when a new delivery arrives. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a practical space where we keep everything stacked up high. You have to be careful walking through the aisles so you don't knock anything over. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of the street food from outside and the sound of honking cars. We’ve got a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting because those crates of cutlery are no joke. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; the walls are mostly covered by shelves reaching up to the ceiling. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep working. We’ve been here at this address for a long time, and the locals know us. It’s a busy life, constantly checking if the spoons and dishes are ready for the next order. We just keep our heads down and get the boxes out of the door to whoever needs them for their kitchens or restaurants. It’s noisy and dusty but it’s where we do our business every day.
