Associated Marbles

Our place, Associated Marbles, is located at No. 29/9 in Vijay Enclave, right along the Dwarka- Palam Road. If you know that road, you know it stays busy with cars and buses all the time. Being in India, you expect the dust and the heat, and we get plenty of both here at the yard. We have been working out of this spot for a good while. The main thing we do is keep the marble stock organized so people can actually see what they are buying. It is a lot of heavy lifting, and the staff is usually busy moving slabs with the crane or just by hand when needed. No. 29/9 isn't hard to find once you get into Vijay Enclave. We don't really do much advertising or anything, people just see the sign and stop by while they are driving toward Dwarka. The office is pretty basic, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at the same time and there is no room to move. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving. The Dwarka- Palam Road is always noisy, but once you step inside the shop, it’s mostly just the sound of stone being moved around. It is a straightforward business and we just stick to what we know.
