We run Alpha Logistic Services Pvt. Ltd. from a spot in Kalkaji, at K-64A. It's a residential-feeling area but we’ve turned our space into a hub for managing logistics. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees; we’re a smaller crew that keeps track of where things are going. Logistics is just a fancy word for making sure stuff doesn't get lost while it's being moved. We spend our time on the phone with drivers and warehouse managers. The office is usually a bit messy with notes and schedules pinned to the walls. We don't use a lot of high-tech jargon here. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work. Kalkaji is a good place for us, it's central enough and we know the local roads well. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck breaking down or a delivery window being missed, and that's when we have to work the hardest. We don't promise miracles, just that we will do our best to fix the problems that come up. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets and checking delivery statuses. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about, but it’s important for the businesses that rely on us. We've been at this for a while and we plan on staying right here in Kalkaji. We keep the paperwork moving so the goods can follow.
