Sri vengamamba Punjabi family dhaba

Our dhaba is right beside the pichireddy kalyana mandapam, which is near Annamayya circle in Nellore. We’re tucked away in the Magunta layout. It’s a Punjabi style place, but we run it as a family business, so it’s got a very casual feel. We don't have any of that corporate stuff going on; it’s just us serving food to people who are passing through or live nearby. The dhaba gets pretty busy in the evenings when families come out for dinner. We have the usual setup with basic tables and chairs, and the kitchen is always humming with the sound of the tandoor. It’s a lot of work to keep the place going, especially with the heat in Nellore. We spend most of our time in the back getting the gravies ready and making sure we have enough fresh ingredients for the day. Being near the kalyana mandapam means we get a mix of different people every day. We don't really do any promotion or fancy advertising. Most of our customers come because they saw the sign while driving by or someone told them the food was decent. It’s a simple life running a dhaba. We just open up, cook the food, and chat with the regulars. Sometimes we run out of certain things if it's too busy, but that’s just how it is in a small place. We focus on the kitchen work.
