Menaka Restaurant & Bar

Our place, Menaka Restaurant & Bar, is over at 26-1-67 in Sarswathi Nagar. Nellore is a warm place, and by the time the afternoon rolls around, we’re usually glad to be inside. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we stay pretty much the same. It’s a restaurant and a bar, so we get a mix of people looking for a full meal and others who just want a cold drink after work. We don't use any fancy decor or expensive lighting. The chairs are sturdy and the tables are clean, which is what matters most to us. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit chaotic when three or four orders come in at once, but we manage to get things out. We don’t have a big marketing team or a social media person, we just rely on people knowing where we are. Sarswathi Nagar is a good spot to be, and we have regulars who have been coming here for a decade or more. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the door stays open too long, but otherwise, it’s just the sound of the fans and people chatting. We do our own cleaning and we handle our own repairs when things break down. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people who live nearby in Nellore.
