Desai Fruits & Vegetables

We are Desai Fruits & Vegetables. Our place is over at Plot No. 49 in Amadpore, right off the N. H. 8. It’s a busy spot in Navsari district. Most days, you’ll find us sorting through crates or talking to drivers who pull in from the highway. We’ve been here a while now, just doing our thing with the local produce. It's not fancy work, but it keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down. People around here know the location because of how close it is to the main road. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets into everything, but that’s just how it is when you're set up right on the N. H. 8. We handle quite a lot of different fruits and vegetables depending on what is in season. If the mangoes are ready, the whole plot smells like them. Other times it's mostly greens and root vegetables. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the plot and the sheds where we keep the stock. The weather plays a big part in how our week goes. Rain can make the ground a bit messy, but we manage to get the trucks loaded anyway. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure things move along. It’s just a small team of us here in Amadpore. We know the neighbors and the local farmers pretty well by now. That's about it really.
