Perfect Engineering Works

We spend most of our time down here at Unit 3 in the Padmavati Industrial Complex. It’s right on the ground floor at Ganpati Pada, so we see everyone coming and going from Gut No. 282. It gets pretty loud sometimes with all the machines running, but that is just how things go in an engineering workshop. We have been here for a while now, dealing with all sorts of metal parts and mechanical jobs that come through the door. Usually, the floor is covered in a bit of dust or oil by the afternoon. People from around Digha know where to find us if they need something made or if a part needs fixing. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workbenches, the tools, and a couple of chairs where we sit when we take a break. The light isn't always great in the back of the unit, but we get the job done. Sometimes the traffic outside gets backed up, but inside we just focus on the lathe or whatever is on the bench that day. It's steady work. We open up early and stay until the light goes. It's not a complicated setup, just a practical space where we can actually get our hands dirty. If you walk past the complex, you will probably hear us before you see us. We’ve got a small kettle for tea, and that’s about as fancy as it gets around here. It’s a good spot for what we do. We try to keep things moving along.
