Our workplace is situated in Kalamboli, over in the B-Wing on the third floor. If you are looking for us, we are in Room 301. We are right across from the housing society and pretty close to the Sports Life company building, which is on Plot 9. Kalamboli can be a pretty hectic area with all the trucks and industry around, but once you get up to the third floor, it’s a bit more peaceful. The building itself is just a regular structure, and the elevator can be a bit slow on hot days, so some of us just take the stairs. Inside the office, it is just us and our daily work. We have been here in New Mumbai for a while and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It is not one of those shiny new offices you see in the brochures. It is just a functional space with desks and files everywhere. We spend most of our hours here just focusing on whatever is on the desk that morning. The view from the window is mostly just the street below, which is always full of movement. We try to keep things simple and just get through the day's tasks without any unnecessary fuss. It is a real place for real work, and that is basically all there is to it. We keep the kettle going and just handle the business as it comes in.
