Grindlays Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Navi Mumbai, specifically in the Swastik Chember building on Cst Road. Our office is spread across units 406 to 408. It isn't a shop where you walk in to buy a single strip of tablets; it’s more of the administrative side of things. Cst Road is always loud with horns and the sound of the city moving, but inside the chambers, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking on the phones. We have been working from this location for several years now. The office isn't overly modern or sleek, it just has the usual desks, many filing cabinets filled with paperwork, and a small area where we have tea. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs which is a bit of a workout. We spend our days coordinating with suppliers and making sure the medicine orders are moving along like they should. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls that people don't really see from the outside. The walls are painted a plain off-white and we have calendars hung up everywhere to keep track of dates. It’s a steady kind of place where everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. It feels more like a small community than a big corporation because we’ve worked together in these rooms for so long.
