Fort is one of those places in Mumbai that still feels like the old days with all the stone buildings and narrow streets. Our office in K.K. Chambers is right in the middle of that history. It’s a busy part of town where lawyers, traders, and office workers are always rushing around. Inside, the ceilings are high, which is typical for these old buildings, and it keeps the place a bit cooler. We deal with a lot of technical specifications and chemical data here. It isn't a factory, just the administrative side where we handle the logs and the business details. There are stacks of files on almost every surface. We have some old wooden desks that have been here for years. The windows look out onto the street, and you can see the tea sellers and the courier guys moving about all day. We usually get our morning coffee from a small place just down the road. The atmosphere is very traditional and no-nonsense. We don’t have fancy glass partitions or modern art on the walls. It’s a place for work, and that is what we do from morning until evening. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but we have gotten used to it over time. It’s just how things are in Fort.
