Gajanan Chemicals is located at C-10/1, Gala No.4 in the Nice Area. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly just rows of similar-looking units and the sound of machinery everywhere. We’ve been operating out of this gala for a while now. Our work involves chemicals, so we spend a lot of time around barrels and containers. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. Everything has a bit of a chemical smell, and there’s always a fine layer of dust on the windows. We don't have a big office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door will answer when someone knocks. We focus on getting the batches mixed and the orders packed. It’s hard work and it gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We have a couple of fans that we keep running, but they don't do much. Most of our time is spent checking the mixtures or loading crates onto the trucks that come by. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our job well and keep our customers happy. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them ourselves. That’s just part of being in an industrial area like this. We take our tea breaks outside on the loading dock when the weather is nice. It’s just us, doing our thing in Gala No.4 and staying busy.
