Shri Standard Chemicals

We are located over at G-30 in the M.I.D.C. area, right near the V.K. Pump company. If you know the industrial zone, we’re not hard to find. Shri Standard Chemicals has been here for a while, surrounded by other sheds and factories. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there’s always the smell of grease or smoke in the air, and trucks are constantly blocking the narrow lanes. Our place is basically a big workspace with some drums and bags piled up. It isn't the cleanest environment, but that’s chemicals for you. We wear our boots and get to work every morning. Some of the equipment is getting old, but we maintain it as best as we can. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just shout for one of us from the gate. We handle the mixing and the packing ourselves. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit messy by the end of the shift. Most of us have been working in M.I.D.C. for a long time, so we know the neighbors well. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know we're here at G-30. We do the work, load the trucks, and start over the next day. It’s a steady rhythm that suits us fine. We don't have a lot of rules, just that the work needs to be done right and the safety gear stays on. It's a loud and messy place, but we've been here long enough that we don't notice it anymore.
