Kemo Industries & Allied Products

If you find yourself on the Mumbai Express Highway near Vilholi, you’ll see us at Survey No. 21/4. We are situated right opposite the Gogad Warehouse, which is a massive building that’s hard to miss. Kemo Industries & Allied Products is located in a spot that used to be right by the old Octroi Naka. The area is very industrial, so there is always dust in the air and the constant sound of horns from the highway traffic. Our facility is a large space where we handle all the production and storage. It’s not a pretty site, just corrugated metal sheets and heavy industrial doors. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with various products and some heavy machinery that we use daily. We have a small cabin for the manager, but most of us stay out in the main area where the work happens. The weather can get really intense here, especially during the monsoon when the rain hammers down on the metal roof and you can’t hear yourself think. We have to keep a close eye on the inventory because things can get misplaced in such a large space. Every morning we check the gates and start the engines to get things moving. It’s a lot of routine, but the highway always has something new happening to keep us interested. We usually share a tiffin in the small shade behind the main building during lunch and talk about the day's tasks.
