Padmapat Engineers

Padmapat Engineers is located up in 315, Vishal Towers. It is one of those typical office buildings where everyone is busy doing their own thing. We have been here for a bit now, and the office has become a second home for most of us. It’s an engineering place, so there are always drawings lying around or someone arguing over a technical detail. We don't really have a marketing person, so our office looks like a place where people actually work rather than a showroom. The view from the windows is mostly other buildings, and the sound of the city hums along in the background. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to clients on the phone. It is a straightforward kind of job. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that; we just try to get the engineering right. Sometimes the tea lady comes around, and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. It is a small team, and we’ve all worked together long enough that we don’t need to say much to know what needs to be done. Being in Vishal Towers is fine, it’s central enough for everyone to get to. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a simple, honest way to make a living in a crowded city.
