We are based in Nashik, specifically in Jijamata Nagar. Our office is at Rajlaxmi Apartment, Flat Number 6. NOVEL BUILDING CONTRACTORS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is a small operation. Being an One Person Company means there's a lot of personal involvement in every single thing we do. We handle local building contracts around the Nashik area. The office is in a residential-style apartment building, which gives it a more relaxed feel compared to a big glass office tower. We spend a lot of time out at the construction sites, so the office is mostly for doing the billing and meeting with clients to go over their plans. Nashik is a good place to work because it’s growing, but it still has a bit of a slower pace than Mumbai. We take on various jobs, whether it's small renovations or bigger structural work. It's mostly about keeping the workers on schedule and making sure we don't run out of cement or bricks. Sometimes I'm the one answering the phone and other times I'm the one out in the dirt at a site. It’s a lot of juggling different roles. We’ve been at this Jijamata Nagar location for a while and it’s become our main hub. There's nothing really fancy about how we operate; we just take the projects as they come and try to get them done properly without any fuss. It is hard work but someone has to do it.
