Siddhivinayak Pharma

Being right near Shatabdi Hospital at Mumbai Naka means we see a lot of people in a hurry. Our shop, Siddhivinayak Pharma, is in G-15 of the Suyojit City Center. It’s a busy spot and the traffic outside never really seems to stop. We spend most of our time standing behind the counter reaching for boxes on the high shelves. The layout of the shop is a bit tight because we have to keep so many different things in stock. You can hear the ambulances and the honking from the main road all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when three or four people are asking for things at once and the phone is ringing in the back. We try to keep everything organized, but with new deliveries coming in every afternoon, there are always crates sitting in the aisle for a few hours. The air smells like antiseptic and cardboard. We don't have any big signs or posters telling people why they should come here. They usually just come because they’ve been to the hospital or they live in the nearby apartments and need something quick. We work late, often past the time the other shops in the center have closed their shutters. It’s a steady job and we’ve gotten to know the regular customers who stop by for their monthly supplies. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
