Our office is sitting right on Jail Road over in Nashik Road, specifically at Plot Number 27 in the Laxmi Kedar Nagari area. Being near the M.S.E.B. store makes it pretty easy to explain where we are to people who haven't visited before. It's a nice enough neighborhood, not too loud, which helps when you have a lot of things to focus on. We have been in this spot for a while and have gotten used to the local pace of things. The office itself is pretty straightforward. No big signs or anything too loud, just a door and our workspace inside. We mostly deal with the day-to-day logistics and making sure the records are kept straight. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that's just Nashik for you, and we just wait it out or use the backup. It’s a small team here so we all know each other’s habits and how we take our tea. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small corner for the kettle and some biscuits. It’s the kind of place where people actually talk to each other instead of just sending emails across the room. We keep the windows open when the weather allows because the breeze is actually quite nice coming off the road. It’s just a regular, working-class office environment where we do what needs to be done every day.
