Ds Bricks Enterprises

Out here on the Vadner-Khedgaon Road in Khedgaon, everything is about the soil and the heat. We are based at Survey No. 155 in the Taluka of Dindori. Making bricks is honest work, but it’s definitely not easy on the back. We spend most of our time outdoors or under simple sheds, dealing with the raw materials. The red dust gets everywhere—on our clothes, in our hair, and all over the trucks. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. Folks just drive down the road and see the stacks of bricks waiting to be moved. Depending on the season, the weather can really mess with the drying process. Rain is our biggest enemy, so we are always watching the clouds. If it looks like a storm is coming, everyone has to move fast to cover things up. We have a small crew of local guys who have been doing this for years. We don't use a lot of high-tech gadgets; it’s mostly about knowing the right mix and how long to leave them in the kiln. Dindori is a quiet enough place, and we like being out here away from the big city noise. We just provide bricks for the local builders who are putting up houses and walls nearby. It’s a simple cycle of digging, molding, and firing. It takes a lot of patience to get the bricks right, but we’ve got the hang of it now.
