About Atul Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Nashik
We are located out in Eklara, not too far from Gangawar. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except for when the kilns are running. We’ve got a good bit of land here where we stack the bricks to dry out. The soil in this part of Eklara is actually pretty good for what we do. My father started this because there wasn't much else work around at the time. Now, it's just what we do every day. We wake up early, check the fires, and start moving the cooled bricks out. It’s repetitive, but there is something okay about working with your hands all day. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything. If someone needs bricks, they drive out here and we talk. Usually, we sit on some wooden crates and have a bit of water while we discuss the order. It’s not fancy. The air is often thick with smoke, and our clothes are always stained with that reddish-orange dust. You get used to the smell of the burning fuel after a while. We don’t really use computers much; we just keep track of things as they happen in a notebook. Life is pretty simple out here near Gangawar. We work while there is light, and we go home when it gets dark. It’s been that way for a long time now, and we don't expect it to change much.
