We are located in a part of Bihar that has a lot of history, but our day-to-day work is very much focused on the present. The office is a simple building surrounded by the landscape of Nalanda. We do not have any big corporate signs or a reception desk with a phone operator. Usually, you will just find a couple of us sitting around a table with some registers and a laptop. The village of Dawai Bigha is a quiet place for the most part, but it gets busy when it is time to harvest. We deal with the technical side of farming and help move things along for the local agricultural community. Sometimes the power is a bit patchy, so we have a lot of manual backups for everything we do. It is not the most modern setup you will ever see, but it works for us and the people we serve. We spend a lot of time outdoors checking on things or talking to the folks who live nearby. There is a lot of dust in the summer and plenty of mud in the winter, so the floors are rarely clean for long. We don't mind it much. People know us as the local agrotech group, and we like keeping things simple and direct without any unnecessary fuss or complicated talk.
