Magadh Pragati Farmer Producer Companylimited

Magadh Pragati Farmer Producer Companylimited is based out of Kobil. It is a small place in the Bardih panchayat, over in the Islampur block. We are deep in Nalanda district, which is a place with a lot of farming history. We started this group because we wanted to see some progress for the people living in Kobil Tola. Most of the folks involved are just local farmers who have lived here forever. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have our hands and our knowledge of the ground. The work is mostly about getting the right seeds and making sure we can sell what we grow without too much trouble from middle men. It is a lot of back and forth between the fields and the office we set up. The office is just a simple building where we keep the records and seeds. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once to discuss a problem. But we get through it eventually. We are not some corporate entity trying to make a quick buck. We are part of this community. We live here, we eat the food we grow, and we want things to get a bit better for everyone in the village. It is practical, everyday work. We are not looking for praise, just a decent harvest and a way to support our families.
