Kishan College

Kishan College is over at 39 Sohsarai in the Nalanda district. We’ve been here for a long time, serving the local community in this part of Bihar. It’s not a huge, modern university campus. It’s a collection of older buildings that have seen a lot of students pass through over the years. We offer various courses for people living in and around the Sohsarai area. The facilities are pretty basic. We have some lecture halls, a simple library, and some administrative offices where we handle all the student records. It’s a very down-to-earth place. Most of our students walk or take local transport to get here. The teachers are mostly people from the region who understand the local needs. We don't spend money on fancy websites or big billboards. People know we're here at 803118 because their siblings or parents probably came here too. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, and the fans might be a little noisy in the summer, but it’s where the work gets done. We just open the doors, hold the classes, and help people get their degrees. There’s no corporate polish here, just a lot of people trying to make a future for themselves. It’s a real part of the Nalanda landscape. We don't have a complicated mission statement; we just show up and teach. It’s a straightforward college for regular people who want an education without any extra fuss.
