Zaika Biryani

Our place, Zaika Biryani, is located at plot no. 196 in the Gupta building. We are right in Vaishali Nagar, Nagpur, not far from Jai Bhim Chowk. If you are familiar with Mahendra Nagar, we are pretty much in that vicinity too. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of houses and small shops nearby. We started this place because we wanted something simple in this part of the city. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of the space we have. Most days, you’ll smell the food cooking before you even see the sign on the building. We get a lot of people stopping by on their way home from work. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a few tables, but a lot of people just take their food to go. The area around the chowk is always bustling, which keeps us on our toes throughout the day. Sometimes the street gets dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters and the chairs. It’s just me and a couple of helpers running the show here. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big menu, just what we know how to make well. People seem to appreciate that we aren't trying to be something we're not. It’s a local business through and through, sitting right here in the heart of the community and serving the local crowd. We stay open until the last pot is empty.
