Chaman Saoji Restaurant

Our place is on the Itwari Railway Station Road, right near Bharat Mata Chowk in Nagpur. If you know Nagpur, you know that Itwari is one of those areas that never really sleeps. We are in the 440002 zip code area. We do Saoji style food, which is just what people around here expect. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us in the kitchen and a couple of people out front. We get a lot of workers from the station and people who live around the chowk. The building isn't brand new, and the road outside can be a bit of a mess with all the rickshaws and trucks, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy website or a PR team. We just cook the way we were taught. Some days it’s so hot in the kitchen you can barely breathe, but the food has to get out to the tables. We’ve been serving the community here for a while. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. The Itwari area has its own vibe, very traditional and a bit chaotic. We fit right in with the rest of the shops on the station road. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure there’s enough for everyone who comes in hungry. That's about all there is to it. We stay open until the work is done and then start it all over again the next day.
