You can find Annapurna Sweets And Restaurant at Ambedkar Chowk on Central Avenue Road in Nagpur. We are right opposite Bharat Mata Udhyaan. It’s a good spot because of the park across the street, so we see a lot of families. We do a mix of sweets and regular food. The display cases are full of different mithai that we make daily. Behind that, we have some tables where people can sit and have a proper meal. It’s usually pretty loud with the traffic from Central Avenue Road and the kids playing nearby. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don’t even need to look at the menu anymore. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We don't use any fancy machinery; most of the sweets are made by hand in the back. The kitchen is always busy, especially during festival seasons when everyone wants sweets. We try to keep things organized, but it can get chaotic when it’s busy. We don’t have fancy air conditioning in every corner, just some old fans that do the job. It’s an honest place where you get what you see. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a sweet shop and a restaurant for the people of Nagpur who happen to be around Ambedkar Chowk. We’ve seen the park change over time, but our shop stays pretty much the same. People come for a snack and stay for a talk, and that’s just how we like it.
