Yogesh The Saloon Spa

Yogesh The Saloon Spa is right on the Manewada Ring Road in Nagpur. It’s near the Manewada Square, so there is always a lot of noise from the vehicles and people passing by. The address is Nagpur 440024, right there where the roads meet. The shop is just a regular place, despite the name saying spa. We do the normal haircuts and shaves, but we also have a chair in the back for head massages which some of the tired workers like after a long shift. The floor is tiled and I try to keep it clean, but the hair piles up fast. We have a few big mirrors and some posters on the walls that have been there for years. The air is always thick with the smell of talcum powder and hair spray. It gets quite busy on the weekends when everyone is off work. I usually have my cousin helping out when it gets crowded. We don’t have any fancy booking system, you just walk in and wait your turn on the bench. Sometimes the wait is long, so we have some old newspapers to read. The shop window looks right out onto the road, so you can watch the world go by while you wait. It’s an honest business and we’ve been here at this spot for a good while now. I've been working this area for a long time and I know most of the regulars who come in for their trim. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
