Skonhet Studio

Skonhet Studio is based in Block A1 of the Jp Emperio building on Residency Road. This is right in the Sadar area of Nagpur, which is a place that never really sleeps. Because the studio is near Gold Gym and the Anjuman Building, there is always a lot of foot traffic right outside the doors. Our studio is a bit different from the bigger salons because the focus is on keeping things personal. A small team of us works here, mostly focusing on hair and makeup. A lot of time is spent on our feet, moving between the different stations throughout the day. The interior is something we put together ourselves over time. It isn't perfect, but the space feels right for us. Many of the people who come in are college students or folks who work in the offices around Sadar Bazar. Some days are incredibly hectic with back-to-back appointments, while other days offer a bit of time to sit and organize the supplies. Scripts aren't used when talking to customers. Instead, we just ask them what they are looking for and give an honest opinion on what might work. It is a practical way of running a business. The energy of Residency Road is great, and being in the heart of the action makes the long hours feel worth it.
