In Style Unisex Salon

Being located on Santra Market Road means it's never quiet. We are right in the middle of the Cotton Market area in Nagpur, and the railway station is just opposite us at the Santra Market side. You can always hear the trains whistling and the porters shouting. In Style Unisex Salon is a busy little place because of where we are. We get all sorts of people walking in, from travelers who just got off a train to locals who work in the market. Since we handle both men and women, the shop is always a bit chaotic with different smells of shampoos and creams. We have a few chairs lined up and some mirrors that show the reflection of the busy street outside. It gets really crowded during the festival seasons because everyone wants to look okay for the holidays. The floor is rarely clean for long because there is so much foot traffic coming in from the station. We just keep working through the noise. It’s a lot of standing and moving around, but being in the heart of Nagpur’s trade area feels right. We don't have fancy decorations, just the basic stuff we need to do hair and skin work. It’s an honest living in a very loud part of town, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and handle the next person in line.
