Globas The Salon

You can find Globas The Salon over on Bhandara Road in the Lakad Ganj area. We’re situated quite close to Subhash Putla, which is a big landmark around here in Nagpur. Being on such a busy road means there is always a lot of dust and noise, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and sweeping the floor. It’s just how it is in this part of town. The salon isn't very big, but we’ve got enough space for a few chairs and some mirrors. Most of our customers are workers from the local shops or people living in the back streets of Lakad Ganj. We don't have a big marketing team or anything polished like that. I usually just sit near the door when it’s quiet and watch the trucks go by. When someone walks in, we get straight to work. Whether it’s a quick shave or a haircut, we just do what’s asked. We’ve had the same staff for a long time now, so we all know how to handle the rush hours. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if a regular customer shows up after work. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don’t use any complicated jargon. If you need your hair cut, you sit down and we do it. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things here on Bhandara Road.
