V Bride The Salon

Our salon is tucked away in Dharampeth Towers on WHC Road, which is a pretty lively part of Nagpur. You can see the Fionna Lounge from near our entrance, so we are easy to spot if you’re walking around. It’s a busy building with people always coming and going. Inside, we have set things up so it feels okay to just sit and wait your turn. We deal with a lot of brides, obviously, since that's in the name. Those mornings are crazy. There’s makeup kits everywhere, glitter on the floor, and someone is usually trying to help a nervous bride into a heavy saree. But we also have regular days where people just want a haircut or a clean-up. The staff here has been around for a bit. We aren't corporate people with uniforms and scripts. We just talk like normal people. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we’re out of a specific shade of lipstick, but we figure it out. Nagpur gets so hot that the air conditioner is basically our best friend from March to July. Customers come in sweating and we give them a glass of water before starting. It’s not a five-star hotel experience, but we do the work properly. We like being in Dharampeth because the crowd is energetic. Most of our furniture has been moved around ten times to find the right spot. It feels like a real workspace, a bit messy sometimes but always busy.
