Tejwanin Food Products Pvt. Ltd. is run out of Flat No-5 in the Pushparaj Ashish Apartment on Dhami Road. We are in the Vishram Bagh neighborhood, which is a fairly busy residential area. Our apartment is on the second floor, and we’ve used every bit of space we have for the business. The living room is where we handle the orders, and the kitchen is usually full of the smell of spices and snacks. We don’t have a big factory or a warehouse. We just use what we have. Sometimes the hallway is blocked with boxes waiting to be taken down to the delivery van. The neighbors are mostly friendly, though they sometimes complain about the noise from our packing machine. We don't have a big sign outside the building, just a small one next to the doorbell. We aren't a big company with a lot of money for advertising. Most of our customers are people from the local market who have known us for years. We do all the work ourselves, from cooking to packing to keeping the books. It's a lot of long hours, but it feels good to be working for ourselves. The office part of the flat is just a desk pushed into a corner with an old computer. We don't have any corporate goals or fancy speeches. We just want to make good food products and earn a decent living for our families.
