Chetakk Food Product

Chetakk Food Product is set up right opposite the T. B. Hospital in the Jagnath Budhwari area. We’ve been in this location for a while, and most people around here know the hospital, so it’s easy to tell them where we are. Our place is more of a production unit than a shop. It smells like spices and flour most of the time, which we’ve gotten used to. We spend the whole day processing and packing things. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when we have big orders to get out. Jagnath Budhwari is a busy neighborhood, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We don't have a fancy office or a marketing department. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes things get a bit cluttered with bags and boxes waiting to be moved, but that’s just the nature of a food business. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We’re just local people making food products for the community. We use simple methods and don't try to overcomplicate the process. It's a bit noisy and hot in the back during the summer, but we just get on with it. We’ve stayed in the same spot because it works for us and the neighbors know who we are. There’s no big story to it, just daily work and keeping things running smoothly as best as we can.
